scanning using the mf227dw

I'm trying to scan using my MF227 MF.  I hit ths scan button, Select the scan type comes up with "computer" as the only choice.  I hit this, and the next window says "Connect to computer".  I hit this and the next screen goes back to the Select the scan type.  In other words, a continuous do loop.  The computer is connected wirelessly.    Any advice on what I'm doing wrong?
