I have a Canon MFC726CDW that is recently new and has been working fine up until today.
When I try to print a multiple page document - let's say, 16 pages, it will only be able to print 2-3 pages before it deems the job complete. When tracking the printing status on my computer, the status will say "printing page 1, 2, 3, etc" EXTREMELY quickly, way faster than the printer can actually print those pages. Any thoughts on potential fixes?
I've i-sensys mf512x and MF SCAN UTILITYY When I'm logged as admin everything works perfect.
When I am logged as restrcted user on windows. I cannot change settings in mf scan utitlty e.g wher are stored scanned documents or change jpg to pdf. MF SCAN utility not saving what I've change in settings.
I gave full persmisssion to c:/program files32/cannon to this user. but nothing change.
I think mf scan utility keep /profile user setting/ in another place but where ?
Any help ?

I have a Canon mf4880dw which sometimes slows down when making multiple copies. This is not a wireless issue (as I have seen in some discussions on this bulletin board), since I am using the copier function, not the "printing from computer" function. No error messages appear, and the toner is not low. I have not been able to zero in on when this happens, but it is frustraingly slow when it does happen. Any ideas?
I have multiple computers in my office, and the same problem on every single one. Printer is connected to LAN by WiFi, all computers use WiFi and all computers can print. But scanning is only possible for max couple of weeks after driver reinstall. We have all Win10 computers.
I used packet sniffer, and when I tried to start scanning from the computer there is no communication whatsoever - not a single packet originates from the computer to the network as if the application assumed the scanner is disconneted.
When I try to scan using Cannon's scan button there is communication with the computer, Cannon MF Toolbox is initiated in the user's computer, but after 10-20 secs the error occurs (on printer's LED screen). In network communication I've seen some packets identified: Name Query Response NBSTAT [Malformed Packet] , I am not an expert in networking to interpret if it is a source of the problem, but bacause these packets are sent as the reply to the computer's request it may indicate what is happening.
Can you solve the problem? I cannot reinstall drivers for all workstations every month or so.

Another thing that i noticed is there isnt a way to add more layouts if i so chose. Unclear if the issue is the mac side or if it is maybe a printer side. But i also notice my printer is MF216n model so unclear if my model has double sided printing.

Recently update to Ubuntu 17.10. The MB2320 installs as a driverless printer. This causes the issue, I am no longer able to set the top and bottom margins to .25. Anything outside 1.0 is 'cut off' in the print.
How to resolve please.

I just upgraded to High Sierra on my Mac. I can print, but cannot find scanner. I upgraded the scan software, but it now says my scanner isn't supported. The support matrix shows it is supposed to be supported. Now what?
Mac Mini Core-i5, 8GB RAM, printer connected via ethernet.

i have two models of Canon MFP C5051i and C5250i . when users scanning a big documents and jam happended :
1- If i used C5250i the printer give me option to remove the jam and continue the job which is useful when i scann many files .
2- If i used C5051i the following message appeares " couldn't scan.Place the originals,then try again" and the job canceled by printer and i have to rescan all the documents again 
Please i need your urgent support.

SOLVED !!!!
I had the same problem, on my iMac, I could not solve until today. I have no idea why it worked. Hope by mentioning what I did, someone may figure it out and give us a more comprehensive explanation.
The problem started about six months ago when my iMac OS was updated. Just could not scan to my iMac destination folder anymore; nor was I able to re-setup the destination folder from within the iMac. Tried the latest drivers/softwares; tried the complete driver removal and re-install... to no avail; .....all folders were greyed out when trying to pick a folder destination.
Today, I decided to try setting up the iMac folder from a Windows PC.
Voila! I was able to set up the destination folder for my iMac from the PC !!!!!!!
Don't ask me why it worked!
I suspect the iMac 'Destination Folder' app was not allowed access to my iMac shared folders; that's why all folders were greyed out?
Any idea?
Its pretty much in the description. I've reloaded this twice and tried a new driver. I've tried moving items from the "3" folder. Nothing works. Preview does not work
I have the same problem with the Canon Selphy. It has no problem printing wirelessly on Macs with Sierra but after upgrading to High Sierra, it will print maybe one or two photos and then it will try to print the next one but the printer never changed the status to busy even though the print queue said connected to printer and that's it. Have to restart the printer, re-print the photo to get it working again.
