Hi DRG,

 

I understand you have already done cleanings but recommend performing a Fixing Unit and Transfer Belt cleaning once again.  Click HERE to perform a Fixing Unit cleaning.  Click HERE to perform a Transfer Belt cleaning.

If the issue continues, take out the toner and rock it 5 or 6 times to evenly distribute the toner. Re-install the toner and attempt a print job.  If that does not work, try another toner cartridge to resolve the issue.

There is a recommended patch to install if you are having issues scanning in Windows 10.  Let's perform the following steps to download and install the scanning patch:

1.  Click HERE to launch the download and driver page.  Your operating system should automatically be detected.

2.  Under the "Drivers" tab, you will need to download and install the file Windows 32-bit & 64-bit] Patch for Network Scan, USB Scan.

3.  Attempt a scan at this point from the MF Toolbox software.

4.  Click HERE for scanning instructions.

Canon LBP612

Hi! Hoping someone can help with this issue:

 

LBP 612 is a new printer for me.  Every time it prints, it beeps...both at the beginning of the printing and at the end.

 

I changed the volume settings directly on the printer to all be 'off'.  Still beeping...extremely annoying, particularly when I am on the phone and someone else is printing to the printer.

 

Anyone know how to correct this annoying issue?

1.  What operating system are you running?

2.  How is the imageCLASS MF726Cdw being connected to your system?

3.  Can a multiple page copy be made with out this issue occuring?

4.  Did you install using the disk or download the software from Canons website?

5.  What program are you printing from and does the issue occur regardless of the program that you print from?

Hi mdgoodman 

 

You can adjust the image quailty of copies according to the types of documents. A correct selection is necessary for the optimal reproduction of the document.  Adjusting the image quality setting can either speed up or slow down the speed depending on the option selected. For example, select "TEXT" for the image quality to see if that speeds up the copies.  Please click HERE for details.

Hi eujeankilt,

 

In order to scan ensure you have also downloaded the Scanner Driver & Utilities V2.11.0 for Mac OS : 10.8/10.9/10.10/10.11/10.12/10.13 file from this Canon website. Click HERE to launch the download driver page.  It will install the scanner driver.  It will also install the MF Toolbox scanning app. 

To initially set up the network scanner on your Mac, follow this guide:

 1.  Open Applications, then select the Canon MF utility folder and choose to open MF Toolbox (If no scanner found error appears, ignore it).

 2.  At the top left hand corner of your screen, next to the apple icon you'll see MF Toolbox.  Click on it and select network scanner setting from the drop down menu.  Click on the plus sign (+) and select the your Canon model from the list, then click Add. 

 3.  At the top of the screen, to the right of MF Toolbox, click Scanner and select your Canon model from the drop down menu.

 4.  You should be able to scan via the use of the Toolbox rectangle bar that appears with the eMail, Save, PDF, etc.

Hello James_C,

 

Thank you for your time and help :-)

 

Luckily, solution to my problem was more simple:

1. Uninstall MF Toolbox.

2. Uninstall Drivers for printer.

3. Restart.

4. Close all aplications and deactivate anivirus.(I guess that's the solution - I've never had to do this, so I didn't the last time)

5. Run Driver package as administator, install. (I also run installer as administrator, before I didn't)

6. Restart.

7. Run MF Toolbox intaller as administrator, install. (I also run installer as administrator, before I didn't)

8. Restart.

9. Activate antivirus, run Toolbox and scan (I didn't have to run it as administrator) - works from computer and printer.

P.S. Patch didn't help...

Try reinstalling the drivers to see if this will help.  Visit www.usa.canon.com to download the latest drivers from the Canon USA website.

Make sure that the latest drivers and IJ Scan Utility Lite are installed.  The IJ Scan Utility is the program that controls the scanner.  Visit www.usa.canon.com to download these items.
